Summer will be over before you know it, so enjoy the weather while you can and check out some of the outdoor events going on in Toronto. Here’s a couple of ideas to get you started.

 

1. Live Music

Milky Chance returns to the Danforth Music Hall for the second of two Toronto shows on their ‘Blossom’ tour. If you missed the first show you can still grab tickets for Friday, August 11 here.

One Republic plays the Budweiser Stage with Fitz and the Tantrums on Saturday, August 11. Tickets are still available online.
 

2. Taste of the Danforth

Taste of the Danforth has long been one of Toronto’s favourite food festivals, and this year is no exception. Now in it’s 24th year Taste of Danforth is back with more food and fun than ever before. 3. Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival

Enjoy your favourite craft beers and sample new brews while enjoying the best of Toronto’s food truck lineup at The Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival this weekend! There will also be live music from local bands on site. Ticket are available online, or at the doors.


 

4. Movie in the Park

Summer is drawing to a close, so if you haven’t had a chance to check out the Christie Pitts Film festival, head down to Christie Pitts Park this weekend! Sunday, August 13 is the second last screening, and the featured film is West Side Story. For more information, visit the CPFF website.


 

5. Parkdale Flea Market

Parkdale Flea Market rounds up the best of Toronto’s local artists and vendors for your shopping convenience. Check out unique antiques and vintage collectables, locally made products, as well as a wide variety of food and drink vendors at 1266 Queen St West this Sunday. Family and pet friendly!
