1. MULCAIR IS OUT

The NDP has rejected Thomas Mulcair as their fearless federal leader. Members voted 52% in favour of finding a replacement in the next two years.


 

2. BIKE BLITZ

An abandoned bike blitz is underway. The city is tagging then clearing bikes that haven’t moved all winter. Last year 1500 bikes were collected.


 

3. NSFW RACCOONS

A Toronto woman is describing raccoon sex as a traumatic start to her day. After hearing loud noises on the balcony, Ana Kwinter went outside and saw two trash panda’s in a loving embrace.


 

4. ANTI LGBTQ LEGISLATION

AMC’s The Walking Dead might stop filming in Georgia because of proposed anti LGBTQ legislation. They join the likes of Disney and Marvel who are also threatening to pull out of the Peach State. It’s not just Hollywood protesting, as Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams have both cancelled shows in North Carolina and Mississippi.


 

5. EXTRA GO TRAINS

Did you notice additional Go trains running after the Jays games on the weekend? Go Transit is boosting service after big games. They will also add trains to the Lakeshore East and Lakeshore West line after Raptors games.
