1. AMBER ALERT ENDED

Police were looking for a silver Toyota Sienna with the license plate BEZY781 in connection with the abduction of a 5 year old girl early this morning from Aurora. Julia Dela Cruz and her dad were found near Pembroke just after 10am. She is okay and the dad has been taken into custody.

 

2. ANOTHER EAST END SHOOTING

There are calls for an east end Toronto cafe’s closure following another fatal shooting on the weekend. A 20 year old man was killed in a drive by outside Cloud Nine Cafe on Danforth near Coxwell. Last May there was a fatal shooting, and in 2013 a firefighter was stabbed to death at the same location.


 

3. TIGER LUNCH

The cops are still trying to identify the woman who jumped the first barrier outside the tiger cage at the Toronto Zoo to get her hat. She could face a $2000 fine, after the YouTube video surfaced Saturday.


 

4. RAPTORS AVOID TWITTER

Jurassic Park outside the ACC was packed Saturday for the 1st Raptors playoff game of the year. If you want to chirp Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan off the court…you can’t. They have opted out of checking social media during playoffs. The Raptors players want to steer clear of negative comments.


 

SUPER MARIO RECORD

A new world record speed run has been set for the classic Nintendo game Super Mario Brothers. The man who goes by “Darbian” online finished the whole game in just 4 minutes 57 seconds and 260 milliseconds.
