1. WEEKEND SUBWAY CLOSURE

Line 1 will be closed Saturday and Sunday from St. George to Lawrence for maintenance.


 

2. ROB FORD ALIVE

The Ford family dispelled rumours that the former Mayor had passed away yesterday. Rob Ford is still in hospital with family by his side under 24 hour medical supervision after chemo failed.


 

3. HIJACKED BUS TO TIM HORTONS

A man in his 20s threatened a TTC bus driver at knife point last night and demanded that he go to Tim Hortons. He was arrested shortly after he got off the bus near Steeles and the 400.


 

4. RIGHT TO DIE

An 81 year old man was the first patient granted the right to a doctor-assisted death in Ontario yesterday and has since passed away. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2012.


 

5. Drake’s New Whiskey

Drake is showing of his new whiskey brand. He took to Instagram to post a pic of the Virginia Black Whiskey. They haven’t announced when it will go on sale or how much it will cost.
