1. JIAN GHOMESHI VERDICT
Jian Ghomeshi has been found not guilty of sexual assault and choking. A solidarity rally is planned at City Hall for survivors of sexual assault at 5:30pm. Ghomeshi will be back in court to face an additional charge in June. We asked Psychologist Dr. Oren Amitay why a sexual assault victim might keep in touch with her alleged attacker after the incident. Listen below:
2. ROB FORD’S FUNERAL
You can pay your respects to former Mayor Rob Ford next week at City Hall. His body will lay in repose Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday’s funeral is private, but there will be a public celebration of his life that night at the Toronto Congress Centre.

3. SPRING STORM CAUSES MAJOR PROBLEMS
Freezing rain caused crashes on all major expressways during the morning commute. Streetcars were delayed and Uber surge pricing was in full effect. Schools and Universities had to be closed. There were also delays and cancellations at Pearson Airport. Rain is expected to continue this afternoon with a high of 2°C. Tomorrow, there is a chance of showers with the temperature falling to 2°C. Saturday looks good on the other hand, with expected sunshine with a high of 8.

4. GOOD FRIDAY CLOSURES
LCBO, Beer Store, Government Offices and most grocery stores are closed for Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
