1. GARDINER CLOSURE

The Gardiner is closed for spring maintenance this weekend. Starting at 11 tonight the Expressway will be closed in both directions from Carlaw to the 427. Construction wraps up at 5am Monday.

 

2 CRACKDOWN ON DISPENSARIES

The Mayor wants city staff to crackdown on illegal marijuana dispensaries. He says that by the end of May every pot dispensary in TO will face charges. He asked city staff to use whatever enforcement mechanisms possible.


 

3. Toronto SPORTS

The Raptors could win the series against the Miami Heat tonight. Game 6 starts at 8PM. How about we give a little love to the Marlies? Toronto’s AHL team could be off to the Calder Cup if they get a Game 6 win against Albany tomorrow.

Today, Grandma Lucy gave the Raptors a little pep talk when she called Raina & Matt.

4. ANTI VAXXERS FORCED TO TAKE SCIENCE

If you don’t want to vaccinate your kid the province will make you to take a science class. Legislation introduced yesterday would toughen the requirements to get exemptions for mandatory school vaccines. Parents who are anti-vaccine for non-medical reasons would have to participate in an education session before being granted the exemption.


 

5. DRAKE ON SNL

Drake will be the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend. In the promo cast member Leslie Jones keeps grabbing his butt then asks his to write a song about it. SNL airs at 11:30pm tomorrow on Global.
