1. FORT MAC FIRE UPDATE

The Alberta Premier says that all Fort McMurray evacuees who first went north have now been evacuated south. The Wildfire is now 200,000 hectares and could stretch to Saskatchewan. Raina & Matt interviewed Fort Mac resident Chelsea who told us about how scary it was for drivers to head TOWARDS the flames.

2. RAPTORS GAME 4

It’s game 4 for the Raptors and Miami Heat tonight at 8. The Raptors lead the series 2-1! Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade became public enemy number 1 for shooting hoops while “Oh Canada” was being performed Saturday. He has since apologized.


 

3. WE’RE The #1 Cannabis City

Toronto has officially taken over Vancouver as the Cannabis Capitol of Canada with 114 dispensaries to their 78. Mayor John Tory says the explosion of marijuana shops in our city is out of control.


 

4. DATING WEBSITE FOR AMERICANS & CANUCKS

A new dating website has popped up. If you are looking for love with someone from the US who is moving because they hate Trump, Maple Match is for you. Immigration inquiries spiked on Google after Trump won Super Tuesday.


 

5. NORTH CAROLINA LGBT LAW

The US Department of Justice has given North Carolina until the end of the day to reverse a law that doesn’t allow transgender people to use bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity. At this time…North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory shows no sign of backing down.
