1. DRAKE DROP/DROP DRAKE

Happy 6ix Day! Drake’s new album Views is out today. The song “Weston Road Flow” has been getting some love online. If you don’t love Drake…you can throw him off of the CN tower in a new online game dropdrake.com


 

2. GO RAPTORS GO!

The Raptors are in Indiana tonight for game 6. Coach Dwayne Casey says they are treating it like a game 7. The Raptors lead the series 3-2. If they lose, game 7 is back at the ACC Sunday.


 

3. SUNDAY MARATHON CLOSURES

The Goodlife Fitness Marathon will close a lot of major roads Sunday, including Yonge and the Gardiner. See the full list here.


 

4. FAT PANDA FORT

It’s time to name Project Under Gardiner: Your choices are “The Artery” “The Bentway” “The Canopy” and “The Gathering Place”. Some names that didn’t make the cut include “AvantGardiner” and “Fat Panda Fort”. The 25 million dollar public space will include walking paths and maybe a skating rink. 5. TINDER TO BLAME FOR STI

Alberta thinks that Tinder is to blame for a rise in STI’s. The Chief Medical Officer reported that some sexually transmitted infections are up 80%. She says social media and dating apps are to blame.

 

6. BUSKER BAND AT YDS

How do you feel about buskers at Yonge & Dundas Square? A couple city Councillors want to ban them because of safety concerns, when drivers and pedestrians can’t get through the intersection.
