Arcade Fire Play KANPE Kanaval

Indie rock icons play first Montreal set since 2014

Arcade Fire played their hit songs at this years KANPE Kanaval in Montreal at Le Métropolis de Montréal.

KANPE, an organization co-founded by Arcade Fire’s Régine Chassagne, focuses on helping families in Haiti escape the cycle of poverty.

Holding an annual event called KANPE Kanaval, which celebrates the Haitian culture, it brings artists together to perform, and all proceeds go towards the KANPE Foundation to help support its mission in Haiti.

Having not played in Montreal since 2014, Arcade Fire played a full set at the event. With their upcoming album set to be released in spring, the band will be on tour through Europe starting in June.
