Behold the power of nature! Make a weekend out of white water river rafting along the Ottawa river. Take a lesson and a guided run from one of the many companies that operates and you’ll be an extreme rafter in no time. When it’s time to pack it in, rent a cottage nearby and chill out by a fire with BBQ and drinks.
 

Drake Devonshire / Prince Edward County

Explore everything Prince Edward County has to offer. Start off things right by renting out a room at Drake Devonshire. If you don’t mind the price tag, go for the Owner’s suite, but really any choice is the perfect mix of glamour and the countryside. Then spend the rest of your time checking out the many amenities the area has to offer. Go swimming at the Sandbanks, give your glass a swirl at a winery, hit some balls for a round of golf, or check out any of the many shops for antiques and cheeses.

If your wedding happens to be in the cruel winter months, head up to Algonquin Park for the ultimate experience. There are a number of companies that offer dog sledding, so a little research goes a long way. This would be a good place to combine and rent out any cool glamping spots near by.
