Beer Store Testing Delivery Service in Toronto’s East End

Also testing in Ottawa

The Beer Store are testing a new service that will allow customers to order beer directly to their house.

The new service is called Beer Xpress, and is going to be tested in the east-end of Toronto, as well as Ottawa, according to the announcement made Tuesday morning.

Customers will be able to place a beer order using an app, and have it delivered to their home address within two hours, or schedule a delivery up to three days ahead of time. Delivery cost depends on size of quantity, but the base price for Scarborough delivery starts at $8 per delivery.

The service also allows customers to place an order for pickup at participating locations. According to the Beer Store’s website, the service will be extended to more locations as they learn more through their pilot.
