If you Sons of Anarchy fans thought it was over for the show, fret not- a prequel could be underway.
Charlie Hunnam, who played Jackson Teller on Sons of Anarchy, has revealed that the prequel of the show could potentially star Brad Pitt.
Sons of Anarchy, which tells the story of a California motorcycle club, ended in 2014 after seven successful seasons. Creator, Kurt Sutter, previously confirmed that he hopes to make a prequel series.
Brad Pitt would potentially play “Jax” Teller’s father, John Teller. Hunnam couldn’t be more excited about the idea as he said, “Did you read that about Brad Pitt maybe playing my dad? Brad Pitt as John Teller. How awesome would that be?”
Sutter explains that the prequel would be a 10-12 episode “limited series” and would take place during the Vietnam War.
The excitement doesn’t end there.
Sutter is also in talks of developing a separate Sons of Anarchy spin-off series set “far enough away from Northern California that it wouldn’t step on the mythology that’s already been told”.
