Brandon Flowers Announces New Album

Flowers Will Release Desired Effect May 2015

After nearly five years, it looks like we are getting another Brandon Flowers LP, and pretty soon.

Flowers took to his official website to post a handwritten note along with a 30-second teaser for his upcoming album, co-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, called The Desired Effect.

Rechtshaid and Flowers announced in August they would be teaming up to work on the project, but since then they have kept very quiet. It’s been a pretty fantastic year for Rechtshaid, after winning a Producer of the Year Grammy for working with artists like Vampire Weekend and HAIM. The follow-up to Flamingo is set to come out May 18th, 2015. Unfortunately, though, there’s no news of a new Killers album.
