Brooklyn Resident Builds an Igloo and Lists It on Airbnb

For all you snow bunnies out there

Airbnb has a track record of listing some alluring rental properties around the world but never quite like this. Some may even classify this “Boutique Winter Igloo” as just another luxurious, yet dangerous listing.

The igloo was built during the recent Brooklyn blizzard by some crafty entrepreneur, listing it for $200 a night. The igloo was described as follows:

“Dripping with ingenuity and alt-lifestyle aura lays the Snopocalypse of 2016’s most desirable getaway. Hand-crafted, and built using only natural elements – we’re offering the experience of a life time in this chic dome-style bungalow for you and bae.”

At first glance, this igloo is pretty impressive. The fresh powder piled atop and the welcoming pine tree really are the selling factors.

The igloo is complete with a few blankets, built in lights and even some plastic-protected pillows to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Don’t get too excited, though.¬†Airbnb has taken the listing off the website. Such a shame.
