On it’s 35th anniversary, Canadian Music Week continues to dish out one of the city’s most promising festival lineups year after year. The festival announced a second wave of artists today:
Detroit rapper Big Sean, Juno winners The Strumbellas and critically acclaimed throat singer Tanya Tagaq join this years’ already stacked lineup of artists. CMW also announced today Whitehorse, Dan Mangan, 54•40, Teenager and New Swears to the lineup.
They join the first wave of artists including Hollerado, The Wooden Sky, Earl Sweatshirt, Wolf Parade and Good Charlotte. The beloved week-long celebration of Canadian artists that takes over 30 venues across the city April 18th-23rd. Festival Passes now on sale at cmw.net/music and Ticketmaster.
