Canadian Premiere: Grey Lands Share “Life Itself”

New music From Toronto's classic Indie rock trio

Grey Lands are fresh off the announcement of their sophomore album Right Arm, which is set to be released September 11th via Paper Bag Records. Their newest single, full of falsetto and a punching low end is titled “Life Itself”.

Alike their previously released singles “False Alarm” and “Another Lie” recalls the early days of indie Rock with fuzzed out-guitars, tense drums and drown-out vocals. The eight-track album washed over in low frequencies throws back to those fundamental indie rock albums like Sonic Youth’s Daydream Nation or Pavement’s Slanted and Enchanted. The entire album was written, produced and recorded by Wayne Petti, with assistance from Ryan Haslett (Sloan) and Graham Walsh (Alvvays, Metz).
