Apparently Donald Glover has changed his mind about retiring Childish Gambino. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the artist revealed that since moving to London he’s been inspired to create new music.
“I’ve been working on that here,” he said. “You guys have been very instrumental in my music. London has been very inspirational.”
Glover also mentioned in the interview that it’s okay to refer to him as Childish Gambino for the near future.
“You still have a lot more time of calling me that if you want,” he said in regards to retiring the stage name.
This isn’t the first time we were hinted at new Gambino music. Shortly after Glover announced the retirement of his alias, Chance the Rapper revealed news of a Chance/Gambino collaboration in a Facebook live video. Check it out below.
