Christie Pits Free Summer Film Festival Announces 2016 Programming

Christie Pits free film festival is returning for a sixth year!

This year’s theme, Stranded in Christie Pits! will showcase a curated list of short, feature and documentary films from June 26 to August 28. The 2016 programme will feature music-films from Grimes, Young Galaxy and Cold Specks, Alfonso Cuarón’s space-thriller Gravity and hold a Pride Toronto affiliated night July 3rd.

This year, 70% of this year’s films are Canadian made, 40% are directed or co-directed by women and 50% feature female protagonists. Check out the entire schedule below.
