College Street Bar is currently shut down. The Toronto Licensing Tribunal has ordered the bar, located near College St. and Manning Ave. too close from February 1st – May 12th.
Let’s dive into what went down in Mid December that is keeping everyone away from the once enjoyed bar. Toronto Police alleged that a 24-year-old woman was given drugs and alcohol at the west-end bar in mid-December. She was then forced to stay inside which led to sexual assault.

Owner of College Street Bar, Gavin MacMillan, 41, and employee Enzo De Jesus Carrasco, 31, are facing a combined 16 charges, including forcible confinement and gang sexual assault. Both men are forbidden to enter the bar or be near it during the closure period. Here’s the best part, MacMillan is rumoured to own a bartending school called BartenderOne Corp.
