Courtney Love writes Love Letter for Kurt Cobain on Daughter’s Birthday

Courtney Love took to Instagram to reminisce about old times

Courtney Love has written a couple of messages to her late husband Kurt Cobain for their daughter, Frances Bean Cobain’s 23rd birthday last week.

Love took to Instagram on her daughter’s special day to share family photos featuring the three of them when Bean was a baby.

“My greatest love and our precious Bean #miss you #memories,” was one of the captions Courtney left on an image, followed by another with “Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus Kurt look at her face, what on earth were you thinking?!?! God I miss you, we all miss you #family #memories #turnbacktime #lovehim.”

Frances recently took part in Montage of Heck, the documentary about Kurt Cobain that was released early this year. The soundtrack for the film is being referred to as Cobain’s “solo album,” featuring unreleased music from the Nirvana frontman.

The film’s director Brett Morgen describes the feel of the soundtrack, saying, “You really get a sense of how happy he was simply by creating himself. His lyrics are really playful, and, at times, you can feel his smile and warmth coming through.”

Montage of Heck’s soundtrack will be released on November 6.
