Dad Gets the Sweetest Tattoo To Make His Daughter Not Feel Like An Outsider

Parenting win

New Zealand dad Alistair Campbell’s tattoo will melt your heart.

His 6-year-old daughter, Charlotte, is deaf in her left ear while she has a condition that inhibits her right ear from sending sound to her brain. She got her first cochlear implant at the age of 4. Her dad didn’t want Charlotte to see herself as different so he got a tattoo of the device on the left side of his head, too.

[I did it for] my love for her, really. Hey, my hair can grow back,” Alistair told the New Zealand Herald.
