Everyone’s favourite sea sponge, ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ will be making his broadway debut in the not so distant future. The people in charge of this production are not messing around when it comes to their music either, artists involved on the project include: David Bowie, Flaming Lips, Dirty Projectors, Cyndi Lauper, T.I. and members of Aerosmith.

David Bowie may seem like an unlikely candidate for the position but he actually voiced a character for the TV show back in 2007. The show will start with a run in Chicago from June 7 – July 13, 2016 before making their way to New York City. Shut up and take my money!
