DFA's latest music video is full of teen angst

Death From Above 1979 just shared their latest video for “Virgins” from last year’s release, The Physical World, and boy is it an odd one.

The video commemorates the “golden years” that every young person goes through, you know – learning to deal with the changes in your body – through the eyes of some very precarious Amish kids. A group of these rebellious teens spend a wild night taking shrooms, snorting ashes and eating “wild” flowers. Filled with some pretty interesting euphemisms like a bloody banana, the video is filled with many familiar feelings of being a teen: rage, euphoria, and sexual tension.
