Did NASA’s Curiosity Rover find mice on Mars?

This isn't what we had in mind when we heard "alien"

Mice on Mars – could it be true? We’re not so sure.

According to amateur astronomer, Joe White, NASA took an image with the Curiosity rover that could point to life on Mars. He posted a video to his Youtube channel, ArtAlienTV on November 11th that he believes resembles the shape of some kind of rodent, — namely a mouse.

In the video, he states that there is a “possible very large mouse or other rodent on Mars in Gale Crater sitting on a ridge plain as day. It is probably an optical illusion but seems to have big ears, nose and eyes visible… Other people including myself have found rodents up there before so it could possibly be”.

Though we’d probably put our money on this being a case of pareidolia. Ever see someone’s face in a cloud? Or Jesus on a piece of toast? That’s pareidolia. Our minds attach meaning to things even if the thing we’re looking at is actually meaningless.

What do you think? Could the first sign of life on Mars really be a rodent?
