Donald Glover Says Migos Are The Beatles Of This Generation

The creator and star of Atlanta had some kind words for the Atlanta hip hop group.

On Sunday night, Donald Glover was awarded Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes for his hilarious and captivating TV show Atlanta. Glover’s 10-episode season was renewed just two weeks after premiering in September 2016.

During his award acceptance speech he thanked Migos when he said “I really want to thank the Migos, not for being in the show, but for making ‘Bad and Boujee’, that’s the best song ever.”

It was after the speech, during the press conference (skip ahead to 2:30) when he said something incredible. A reporter asked why he decided to shout out the Atlanta, Georgia hip hop group and he quickly snapped back and said “I think they’re The Beatles of this generation and they don’t get a lot of respect,” he went on to say “and honestly that song’s just fly, there’s no better song to have sex to.”
