Since the release of Straight Outta Compton, rumours surrounding Eazy-E’s death have started to surface again. In 1995, The N.W.A. rapper died of complications due to AIDS, which until now had been generally accepted to have been sexually transmitted.
However, in a recent Instagram post, Eazy-E’s son Yung Eazy has come out claiming that his father was murdered by Suge Knight, CEO of Death Row Records, by injecting Eazy with the virus. As insane as the theory sounds, he supports his claim by posting a video of Suge Knight on Kimmel in 2003 joking about murdering people by doing exactly that:
“They got this new thing out…They get blood from somebody with AIDS and then they shoot you with it. That’s a slow death. An Eazy-E thing.”
I've been known my pops was killed. His death never added up 2 what ppl have always said maybe they think we're idiots blind to the truth idk….but 4 u new fans, youngsters & ppl who just don't know much notice in #StraightOuttaCompton Eazy did not get sick until after the studio incident with suge and look how he acknowledged & admits on this interview with #JimmyKimmel injecting ppl instead of shooting them is a new thing that's done. ? the truth is out there its just blinded by the fact that Eric had alot of sex #FreeYourMind #RipEazyE #EazyE #FuckSugeKnight
Former N.W.A. manaager Jerry Heller was also in the news recently discussing Eazy-E’s murder. After a video emerged of him online talking about regretting telling Eazy not to murder Suge, he also commented on the Kimmel video expressing his disappointment in the F.B.I.’s lack of interest in murder investigations surrounding the deaths of African Americans.
