So far we’ve experience a pretty mild 2017, but don’t fret because the winter weather is finally here.
Environment Canada issued an Extreme Weather Alert early Thursday morning announced frigid temperatures for the day. Thursday’s weather will reach a high of -6°C, low -11°C or -16°C with the wind chill.
You can also expect to see some flurries today. For those of you in the northern York and Durham regions there is currently a snow squall watch in effect.
The extreme weather effect will continue through the weekend to Sunday, where similarly bitter weather is expected. For more information, take a look at Environment Canada’s alert.
