Have the time of your life at the ROM Friday at their Friday Night Live event. Between 7:00-11:00 p.m., check out the awesome exhibits including the Out of the Depths: The Blue Whale Story, grab a drink and go dancing inside the beautiful museum.
 

2. RUFF (Ryerson University Film Festival)

Check out what the our future filmmakers are up to. Ryerson University Film Festival is the biggest student film festival in Toronto, held at the Ryerson Theatre. Many of last year’s graduates have already been featured at TIFF and we suspect this year will be no different.
 

3. Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions Concert

Listen up, Pokémon fans! Experience the evolution of the Pokémon franchise at this exciting audio-visual experience. The event promises orchestral arrangements carefully timed with visuals drawing from a number of classic Pokémon video games. Check it live at the Sony Centre Saturday May 6th.

Celebrate the release of Father John Misty’s recent album Pure Comedy, Friday May 5th & Saturday May 6th, at the Royal Alexandra Theatre with support from Vampire Weekends Chris Tomson’s Solo project Dams of The West.

5. Free Comic Book Day

Grab a free coming, meet a comic creator and get it signed. At boutique book shops and comic shops across the city, fans can grab free comic books from a selection of titles. Get in on the action Saturday May 6th, see here for lparticipating locations.
