Frank Ocean Allegedly Shared New Music At Secret Listening Party in NYC

A handful of song snippets emerged but have quickly been pulled.

According to Fuse, Frank Ocean hosted a very secret listening party on Sunday (Feb. 28) in New York City for what could be a new album. Fans have been patiently waiting for the Channel Orange artist to release new music.

Several clips of music from this said listening party emerged online but have been pulled. Of the snippets, a bicoastal photographer uploaded, then deleted low-quality Instagram clips of what could be new Frank Ocean tracks. The clips were captioned, “very very secret frank ocean listening party” and “#FRANKOCEAN NEW ALBUM SOUNDING ANGELIC AS FUCK”.

Back in early 2015, Ocean posted a photo on his Tumblr of what read like a potential album release. The photo features Ocean sitting on a stool looking through a stack of books titled, Boys Don’t Cry. The caption read, “I got two versions. I got twoooo versions. #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY.”

Other than his vocals on Kanye West’s “Wolves”, these could be the first hints at new music from Frank Ocean since 2012’s Channel Orange.
