‘Gilmore Girls’ Luke’s Diner pop-ups in Toronto Giving Out Free Coffee for Anniversary

Get your coffee and Gilmore fix Wednesday, October 5th!

Attention Gilmore Girls fanatics! You could be enjoying a free cup of coffee in honour of the shows 16th birthday, and it will all take place at Luke’s – one of the show’s main settings.

This is exciting! Netflix is commemorating the 16th anniversary of the series premiere on October 5th in the best way possible. The digital streaming company is converting around 200 cafes across the United States and Canada into Luke’s diners for the day. That means Netflix Canada is opening four temporary Luke’s Diner locations in Toronto and one in Vancouver.

And the best part? They will be handing out free coffee! That’s right; Netflix will be covering the cost of 250 12-ounce cups of coffee for fans of the coming-of-age series. They will provide each location with “Luke’s Diner essentials”. This includes the well-known T-shirts and aprons. No word if Luke will be making an appearance, but there is still hope!

The pop-ups are only from 7 am until noon, while supplies last. Here are the locations in Toronto and Vancouver:

The Rolling Pin: 3429 Yonge Street
Infuse Cafe: 354 Yonge Street
Infuse Cafe: Gerrard Square Mall, 1000 Gerrard Street E.
Milano Espresso Bar: 266 Adelaide Street W.

Trafiq Cafe & Bakery: 4216 Main Street, Vancouver, BC
