Gorillaz Are Back In The Studio

Lots of hints at the new Gorillaz lineup

Following hints and promises of both Gorillaz collaborators Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn, the infamous virtual band are back producing new music.

Visual proof of their reunion surfaced after Hewlett posted a number of Instagram videos of the duo in a studio, accompanied by a group of music producers. The videos show French producer Jean Michel-Jarre, British singer-songwriter Liam Bailey and producer Twilite Tone. A post also said that Massive Attack had visited the Gorillaz in the studio, but has since been deleted.

This would be the first new material since 2010’s Plastic Beach, ignoring the iPad produced The Fall.
