Green Day Cancels Toronto Show Due To Illness

Tickets will be refunded.

As if September could get any worse for these guys..

Green Day has cancelled their Friday Toronto concert due to illness, the band announced Sunday. As confirmed on the band’s official Facebook page, their St Louis, Chicago and Detroit shows have been postponed, but their Toronto date has been canceled all together.

“We’re so sad to announce we have to postpone three shows and cancel Toronto,” said the band. “Many of us have been battling this infection for days on end to be ready, and it just got the best of us.”

Refunds will be given to anyone who bought tickets for next Saturday’s Distillery District show.

The band’s Revolution Radio is due for release October 7th. It will be their first full-length release in four years.

Feel better guys!
