Guitarist Brian May Reveals New Queen Monopoly Set

"No time for losers 'cause we are the champions"

Brian May announced that Queen will be releasing their own version of Monopoly, which is set to arrive in May.

Instead of the regular rules of Monopoly, the Queen version will have players build the band’s career. From their first appearance at Imperial College in 1970, to their last show with Freddie Mercury in 1986 at Knebworth.

Not only have the rules of the game changed, but the game pieces have changed to represent some of the band’s iconic songs. The pieces include a cyclist representing “Bicycle Race,” a hammer for “Hammer to Fall,” Brian May’s guitar, a robot for “News Of The World,” a radio representing “Radio Ga Ga,” and a vacuum cleaner for “I Want To Break Free.”

Brian May, who has been promoting the game on his social media accounts is really excited for the game to be released, stating on his website that “it was a blast working on it — like making an album! We hope you love it!”

Fans of Queen and Monopoly won’t have to wait too long, as the game is set to be released on May 5th online.
