Guns N’ Roses Are Reuniting for Coachella

Sources have confirmed that the band will be headlining Coachella 2016

Guns N’ Roses will reunite to headline Coachella 2016. Reports have been surfacing of a band reunion, and Billboard has reported that along with playing Coachella, multiple sources have mentioned a more-than-likely full reunion tour for 2016. According to Billboard reports, the tour will span around 25 American football stadiums in 2016, with a cost of up to $275 per ticket. The band has also reportedly asked for $3 million per show, and is anticipated to be one of the first bands to play at the Los Vegas Arena, which will be opening April 6.

Other hints have also been dropping to lead fans to anticipate a GNR reunion. Many have reported seeing a very short and unclear teaser trailer air during screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The trailer featured stadiums full of cheering fans shown under a short clip of “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Axl Rose and Slash haven’t played together since 1993, though Axl has since toured on his own with GNR.

Coachella has a reputation for reuniting bands for the festival. Past reunions have included Rage Against the Machine, My Blood Valentine, Pulp and Outkast.
