In 2016 You will be able to fly from Toronto to Europe for $250

Canadian airline WestJet announced this week that they will begin offering flights from six Canadian cities to London, England for a very affordable price. Beginning in May 2016, you’ll be able to go direct from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and St. John’s to London’s Gatwick Airport for as low as $200 (one way) INCLUDING TAXES AND FEES.

Vancouver to London Gatwick (starting at $299)

Calgary to London Gatwick (starting at $299)
# of flights: 5 weekly

# of flights: 2 weekly

Winnipeg to London Gatwick (starting at $299)
# of flights: 1 weekly

St. John’s, Newfoundland to London Gatwick ($199)
# of flights: 1 daily

The new long-distance flights are now possible following WestJet’s acquisition of four new Boeing 767-300 aircrafts, which have a range of about 9500 km – or 11 hours – and a capacity of 262 passengers. WestJet has yet to release any info on return flights.
