Genuine apology sprinkled with a touch of self-interest

It’s official, hell has frozen over and led to Kanye West apologizing to Beck and Bruno Mars over his Twitter page earlier today. Yeezy has been especially visible in the social media spotlight recently with the launch of his new Adidas line, a slew of epic collaborations, and his prominent award show presence.

Is Mr. West turning a new leaf? Will this reconciliation lead to some epic musical alliances? Only time will tell. Until that day, Kanye has been showing his softer side to fans and media, namely in a recent interview with Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1. In the emotional interview Kanye praised fellow rapper Drake, talked about feeling like a product of the media, and even shed a few tears over the recent passing of fashion professor Louise Wilson.
