Lady Gaga has been pretty busy lately, starring in American Horror Story: Hotel, and beautifully tackling sexual assault with her Oscar-nominated ballad “Till It Happens to You”, which she performed at the 88th Academy Awards this past February.
Sadly, for monsters, it’s been years since the six-time Grammy winner released a studio album – but that’s soon going to change.
Late last night marked the “Poker Face” singer’s much anticipated return to the musical word, when she released her newest single, “Perfect Illusion”.
Gaga shared producing duties on the track with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson. Queens of the Stoneage’s Josh Homme also lends a hand, laying down guitar alongside Parker and Ronson, with help from Bloodpop on synthesizers, according to the singer’s tweet:

The song gives off major “Bad Romance”-era vibes, with a touch of rock, and subtle ’80s synthesizers – perfect timing with the whole Stranger Things craze.
