The LCBO, yes that’s right, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario if opening a bar in Toronto next week.
Bar Zero, as it’s being called will open at Church Aperitivo Bar at 1090 Queen St. West. But as the name suggests, there’s a catch. All drinks will be alcohol free. Instead the cocktails crafted by BarChef’s Frankie Solarik, are promoting the LCBO’s Take Care initiative to promote responsible drinking. Just because you are the designated driver doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a fine crafted (non alcoholic) drink.
Snacks will be available (yes real snacks) by Buca’s Rob Gentile, and music will be provided by DJ feelgoodsmalls. Catch it next Thursday, November 24th between 8:00pm and midnight at the corner of Queen and Dovercourt.
