Listen: Kurt Cobain single “Sappy” released

Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings will be released on November 13

Kurt Cobain’s speculated solo album has been teased with a remastered version of “Sappy,” which was initially released as a hidden track for AIDS benefit album No Alternative in 1993.

The track comes after the Montage of Heck website featured a puzzle last night that if rearranged properly, revealed the cover art for Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings, as well as “Sappy”. The solo track is a new rendition that will be titled “Verse Chorus Verse” in the future.

The full record is set for release on November 13, with a cover of The Beatles “And I Love Her” being released as a seven-inch the following week.
