Listen: The Replacements Record Improv Song “Poke Me In My Cage”

Check out the 24 minute track called "Poke Me In My Cage"

If you randomly check The Replacements’ Soundcloud you might have noticed a few days ago that the band revealed a new song. “Poke Me In My Cage” has not been acknowledged by any member of the band or on any social media page, but the Soundcloud description says the track was written by Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson, and recorded at Wooly Mammoth Sound on October 28, 2014. The rest, including the tags #Jazz and #PorcupinePiss and the porcupine album art, is a mystery.

The Replacements have been playing together since Westerberg and Stinson’s reunion at last year’s Riot Fest, and they say that a comeback is likely.
