Listen to Wilsen’s New Song ‘Final’ From Upcoming Debut Album

The Brooklyn Trio Reflects on Life and Loss in New Single

Comprised of members Tamsin Wilson (singer/songwriter), Drew Arndt (bass) and Johnny Simon (guitar), Wilsen is a trio that rose out of Brooklyn and are preparing to release their debut LP I Go Missing In My Sleep via Secret City Records.

“Final” is the group’s second and latest single off their forthcoming album, and it’s perhaps their most illuminating track. “Final” is both painful and beautiful, described in a release as a “meditation on loss.” Wilson sits just above a whisper throughout the song, echoing lines like those moments too soon/or a second too late/oh sing to me of loss that grip anyone who’s come face to face with loss.

On top of a new album (releasing April 28th) Wilsen has announced April tour dates, including two dates in Montreal, one in Quebec City and one in Ottawa, with more dates to be announced. Maybe a Toronto date soon?
