Man Arrested At Coachella After Stealing 100 Phones

Mobile phones tracked down via 'Find My Phone' feature

Well, this was bound to happen.

Reinaldo De Jesus Henao of New York was arrested for stealing 100 cell phones at Coachella on Friday after Indio Police tracked him down.

Numerous people who couldn’t find their phones activated their “Find My Phone” feature, which led police to capture Henao, who was in possession of at least 100 mobile devices he had stuffed into his backpack.

Henao was charged with grand theft and possession of stolen property. The 36-year-old was reportedly released after posting $10,000 bail.

A lesson for festival goers to keep your phones in a safe place on your person…and to activate that “Find My Phone” feature if you can’t locate it.
