Modest Mouse to Release ANOTHER New Album + Shares “Linguistic Remix Generator”

Modest Mouse is making up for the last 8 years of silence

The latest Modest Mouse album Strangers To Ourselves was released earlier this week (stream it here!), but the hype doesn’t stop there. The band just released a new element to the album called the “Linguistic Remix Generator” and the premise is pretty amazing. Type any phrase up to 96 characters in to the generator, which is then made in to a looping remix with customized musical elements from the album and visuals. A truly trippy, personalized Modest Mouse experience you need to try for yourself to understand.

Continuing the exciting Modest Mouse news, the band has been unusually generous to their fans lately. After waiting eight years since their last album, frontman Isaac Brock confirmed with HMV last week that the band will release a new companion record to Strangers To Ourselves as soon as possible. No release date has been mentioned, but Brock remains optimistic, stating, “I’m pretty far along with the next one as it is. I went in to making this one with two records in mind… It’ll be released as quickly as it’s legally allowed to be.”

Modest Mouse, you are too kind.
