New Rib Fests Coming to Toronto

Have a saucy summer

BBQ season is upon us. So is festival season. That could only mean one thing: Rib Fests.

Downtown Toronto dwellers won’t need to drive out of their concrete bubbles to indulge in some sticky icky BBQ ribs this spring/summer. There are three new saucy events on the scene.

First up: Hero Ribs at the Carbon Bar. Who ever said eating meat wasn’t supporting a good cause? On April 17, for $25 you’lll get a half rack of ribs, sides, and a pint of Bud, with all the proceeds going to SickKids.

When that rib craving comes sneaking back in May, head to Yonge-Dundas Square for Northern Heat Rib Series’ Rib Fest & BBQ Bash on the 20/21.

And don’t worry – your summer of sauce doesn’t stop there. On July 23 & 24 Northern Heat will be back, this time at Fort York and Garrison Common, for the Lake Shore Rib Fest.

Don’t forget a napkin.
