NOFX’s Fat Mike Offers “Hipster” $100 to Leave Show

Bearded man in a tie-dye shirt's presence annoys the band

NOFX has a strict “no hipsters rule” at their shows.

Last week while the band was playing at the Cunard Centre in Halifax, Fat Mike spotted a man sporting a tie-dye shirt and a beard – a look he identified as a “hipster”. Apparently his presence alone had been bothering him all night, so the frontman offered the “beardo” $100 to leave the show.

“Yeah, you know what? You have no business being here. I will pay you $100 to leave this show,” Fat Mike said to the man, “Are you going to stand in front and bother me all day with your fucking tie dye shirt and your beard?”

The man, who seemed to be enjoying the show, declined the offer, so Fat Mike leveled with him and bought his tie-dye shirt off the man for $20.
