Calling all fashionistas! Nordstrom Rack is coming to Toronto.

For those of you who haven’t heard of it, it’s a bargain-hunter’s dream. The designer outlet store sells clothes, shoes and accessories at discounted prices (30-70% off) due to cleared unsold merchandise from other outlets.

The store is set to open at 1 Bloor Street East, one of Toronto’s most bustling intersections. The store will take over two floors of Great Gulf’s new 76-storey mixed use tower, starting at ground level.

Shoppers must wait until 2018 for the store opening because of the large number of “complexities” and expenses in setting up shop in Canada, says co-president, Blake Nordstrom.

Not to worry. In the meantime you can get a taste of Nordstrom, the more expensive option, opening this Fall at the Eaton Centre and Yorkdale.
