Photographer Captures How People Change After Three Glasses of Wine

The visual explanation of wine-wasted.

Better than any nature soundtrack or scented candle, we all know a big glass of wine is the best way to unwind after a long day.

Photographer Marco Alberti must be well-versed in the effects of wine’s liquid relaxation abilities. His latest project, “3 Glasses Later“, is a photo series that shows a person’s progression over three glasses of wine.

Alberti took photos of his subjects as they arrived at the studio, then a photo after one, two and three glasses of wine. Alberti explains:

“There is a saying about wine that I really like and it’s something like this ‘The first glass of wine is all about the food, the second glass is about love and the third glass is about mayhem.’ I really wanted to see it for myself if that affirmation was in fact true.”

Wine makes him a little silly.

She seemed to enjoy herself.

Not phased. At all.

The rosy cheeks started to come out.

…And so did the smiles.

Alberti says on his website,

“By the end of the third glass, several smiles emerged and many stories were told.”

And I think we know it all too well.
