Take a look at Toronto’s newest landmark outdoor space, Trillium Park located at Ontario Place.

What was before a parking lot has now been transformed into a 7.5-acre public green space on Toronto’s waterfront. It features a wooden pavilion, romantic gardens, fire pit, rock bluffs and newly built trail.

The design for the new park was inspired Ontario landscapes says a press release from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports:

The design is inspired by Ontario landscapes and is the culmination of discussions with people from across Ontario, including the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. As a result of public consultation, key features are included in the final design, including a pavilion and washroom facilities.

Trillium park connects into the newly built William G. Davis Trail, named after the Ontario Premier when Ontario place first opened.
