LAPD confirm homeless man has been arrested

L.A. police have apprehended an individual for the murder of Richard Hong, an actor and friend of George Stroumboulopoulos who had been staying at the CBC radio host’s home.

Monday morning, LAPD Capt. Cory Palka announced that a homeless man had been arrested.

Hong’s body had been found in Stroumboulopoulos’ L.A. home September 23rd, where the coroner determined he died from blunt force trauma. A suspect was seen fleeing the scene, but police have not confirmed whether that individual was the one taken into custody.
