Prince’s Toronto Set List Was A Masterpiece

You really missed out

What does the grandmaster of pop do after a nearly forty year career to keep things interesting? If you’re Prince, you sell out two back-to-back shows within 48 hours and play a medley of your greatest songs on a purple electric grand piano.

Normally, Prince’s instrument of choice is his purple “Cloud” Guitar, but on his Piano & Microphone tour, the musician has been switching things up for ivory keys. Playing two shows Friday night, the artist covered hits from his vast 39-album catalog on piano, as well covering the likes of David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley and Bill Withers.
